Bentall Kennedy has refined and improved its property management service over the last 100 years.  We compete to earn the right to service our clients and aim for constant improvement.  Our primary goal is our tenant’s satisfaction.  In our last, semi-annual Survey of Tenant Satisfaction, our tenants rated us 5.9 out of 7 – very gratifying results, but results we hope we can continue to improve!

Supporting our property management services is “Clikfix” our 24-7 Call Centre.  Calls are answered generally within 9 seconds, dispatched to our site operations digitally, closed out on time (in accordance with tenant’s request) and tenants receive notification of the completed work order.  All service requests are recorded, data analyzed and used to monitor building systems for preventative maintenance.  We hope to see “trends” so that tenant service requests can be minimized, to the benefit of the tenant. We have established Best Practices to:

  • Aggregate purchasing power to lower costs of materials and labour
  • Improve national contracts to achieve higher performance in key services – elevators, cleaning, etc.
  • Established “Green Cleaning” specifications to reduce the negative impact of pollutants on building occupants.
  • Established Green Development Practices to reduce pollutants in buildings.
  • Monitor energy usage and carbon footprint of our buildings and their occupants so we can improve the sustainability of our work spaces.
  • Recycling – to reduce cost and waste.
  • Reduce the risk of infection in the event of pandemics like SARS, etc. – we have pandemic control strategies.
  • Emergency response systems.
  • Improve preventative maintenance for building systems.
